Freedom Clicker — a satirical idle clicker game

Freedom Clicker is a free browser game in the tradition of Cookie Clicker: you start with a single finger and a dream, and click your way to interplanetary economic domination. Every click earns MAGA$, the game's fictional currency. Spend it on buildings that earn for you automatically, unlock upgrades, chase golden bonuses, and advance through nine escalating eras of political satire — from a campaign escalator ride all the way to a casino resort on the Moon.

The game is a work of political parody. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any politician, campaign, party, or government. Nothing in it is a factual claim — it is satire, exaggerated for comedy, in the spirit of editorial cartoons.

How to play

  1. Click the caricature. Every click earns MAGA$. That's the whole tutorial.
  2. Buy buildings. From the shop panel, buy income generators — a Red Cap Volunteer costs 15 MAGA$ and earns on its own. Each additional copy of a building costs 15% more than the last, so spreading purchases across buildings pays off.
  3. Buy upgrades. Owning 10, 50, or 100 of a building unlocks upgrades that multiply its output ×3, ×5, and ×7 — and the 100-tier "Weaponized" upgrade makes every copy of that building boost all production. Every achievement you earn adds +1% production too. Global and click upgrades appear at milestones.
  4. Catch the shiny things. Golden Trumps, falling stars, era quest items, and one-time events drift across the screen. Clicking them grants frenzies, lump sums, and secret achievements.
  5. Prestige when growth stalls. Resetting grants permanent Mandate points (+2% production each), so every run climbs faster than the last.

Progress saves automatically in your browser — no account, no download, no install required. You can also install it as an app on your phone. For build-by-build strategy, era thresholds, and the prestige math, read the full strategy guide.

Guides and strategy

Freedom Clicker has a full set of written guides — an era-by-era walkthrough with real building costs, a beginner's first-hour walkthrough, the Mandate prestige math, and a complete building and upgrade reference:

The nine eras

Eras unlock by lifetime earnings and each brings three new buildings, a new backdrop, a side quest, and fresh upgrade tiers: Drain The Swamp, Repeal & Replace, Drill Baby Drill, Trade Wars, Build The Wall, Maximum Pressure, The Greatest Comeback, World Domination, and finally To The Moon — the space-age endgame where the Galactic Mint prints MAGA$ from starlight. The complete era table with unlock thresholds is in the era guides.

Frequently asked questions

Is Freedom Clicker free?

Yes — completely free, supported by ads. There are no purchases, no paywalls, and no pay-to-win mechanics of any kind.

Do I need an account?

No. Your save lives in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device. You can export and import your save from the settings menu if you switch devices.

Does the game progress while I'm away?

Yes, at 1/1000 of your normal production rate. Idle games that run at full speed offline balance themselves around never being played; Freedom Clicker rewards showing up.

What is prestige and when should I use it?

Prestige ("Mandate") resets your run in exchange for permanent production bonuses. The first point requires one billion lifetime MAGA$. A good rule: reset when the next era gate looks hours away. Full math in the prestige guide.

Is this a political statement?

It's a parody game — the politics are the comedy set-dressing, the same way Cookie Clicker is not a statement about baked goods. All characters, brands, tweets, and headlines in the game are fictional satire.
